Heritage Brake Calipers...

Anyone fitted em? I'm trying...

They have released a pair of brand new replacement calipers for pre 85 vans which are non Vw - £80 a pair - GREAT I thought! - thing is they need a mod which they dont sell! The inlet pipe goes in the centre of the caliper as opposed to the top and even with a tight bend copper pipe they rub on the springs on full lock!

So what does the correct adaptor look like? :?
Only thing I can think is an aeroquip hose with a special fitting? :?
Bit of a poor show on Heritages part I think!

Thats because they are selling you bay window calipers rather than the right ones.

Got mine re conditioned by Brake Engineering through the local motor factors. Cost about £45 each. Came back like new in just a few days.

Its my father in laws van (pre 85), he took the old brakes in to be rebuilt and they were corroded to excess so they sold him these from Heritage (don't ya hate it when people don't ask you for help??! !) and was told these were the new replacements!
I also noted that Just Kampers also state that slight modifying will be required so assumed this was a new solution.
BTW watching some old junk on discovery turbo earlier and found the thing I reckon that will work - banjo unions, I shall let you know if it works...
