Hello guys this is my first post on this site so thanks in advance for all your help. I am looking for a Radius rod ( right side) for a 86 plate T25 I have tried the dealers and it was discontinued 2 months ago. Any ideas would be really helpful. Also does any one know if its safe to move my van with a snapped one( only a about a mile on quite roads)One Final question Any recomendations for a camper frieldly garage in South Manchester.

Think you mean anti-roll-bar drop-arm, not radius rod (which is very thick and goes forward to thechassis anchor point and you wouldn't drive far without it (drag link, sets caster)

Ok to drive without arb drop-link provided its tucked outa da way or removed

CJ at syncrospares will have one, or Syncro-Nutz

Must specify vehicle, and whether syncro 4WD or not.

Thanks guys , Its a 86 plate 1.9 petrol T25 2w/d. I think it is the Radius rod, it is attatched from the bottom of the axle and runs forward to ( i think the sub frame) it is about 1.5 cm thick, ill try and add a photo tonight. Very odd it just broke as i was travelling up to some traffic lights not far from home.

That hasn't just broke surely, it's been in a serious smash at some time.. ?

A photo would be good, to show where it has broken.

There are two types 241 407 059 (left)

.... 060 (right)

which bolts onto the wishbone

and ... 059 A and 060 A

which screws into the (later) wishbone

and change at frame No. 24-F-019-682

Yours will be the later screw in type almost certainly

where abouts on the rod has it snapped?

That doesn't sound good, The van seems in good nick I have had it a year, and I have a list of the last 2 owners going back about 10 years, but you never know. Im at work at the moment but ill post 2 pictures tonight. It has snapped at the join where it meets the Sub frame. Desperate to get it fixed as have a week off work coming up and was hoping to hit the rd.

Just a thought, but it WAS bushed wasnt it? I saw one (at a breakers yard!) that was bolted DIRECTLY to the sub frame! The subframe and bar were, to put it politely......s*&%ged!

Almost guaranteed that was in a (potentially) very dangerous condition for some time; amongst other things the radius rod is the main drag-link when under braking!

Wasn't it skewing all over the place when braking once it had broken?

In this case at the subframe pickup?

Not sure what it was like driving after it snapped i did not want to risk driving so it is sitting waiting for me to find the part. I have a few photos now but does any one have any ideas how i can upload them. sorry not very technical i know..:@)

Erm Harry? Its a 2wd, It dont have a subframe! As for cause i would suggest corrosion! Yet i havent seen where it is snapped nor have i seen the offending item! I speak only from exeriance on this type of breakage!

As for moving the vehicle with out the aid of a recovery company I would go down to the van with a bit of 2 by 4, a saw and a ractchet strap and rig it up too move it the short distance needed!
