A mate in work has what he thinks is a boxer engine crank, which has just been reground 0.050" undersize.

Don't know what engine it has come from

Only markings on it are N10, and it is for a 5 stud flywheel.

Anyone know what engine it's for

It is for sale complete with rods for £50.

5 stud flywheel would be 1.9 - 2.0L ish....

Are there any dobs of paint on it? there is a colour coding paint method VW use on their cranks.....


2.1 DJ has green, 1.9 blue or red. If it's a 228mm clutch flywheel then it's a later 1.9 or 2.1 flywheel (thanks Mr Hulley for this info!)
