I have lowered the spare wheel down from from under the front of the van to check the treat but i did not see the jack or wheel brace.

I have bought a 2tonne trolley jack and as these seem to be the best solution for lifting a van but was wondering where these items where originally located in a multivan.

Try under the passengers seat in the back of the van, that is normally where they live.

or, less usefully, at the back of a preveous owners garage, presumably as a soveneer; maybe with the instruction manual and 2nd set of keys. Don't know why people take them out, but they do.
