Can anyone recommend a mechanic to fit a 1.9TD aaz?

i live in caterham surrey.

i have tried a few 'VW' garages but none of them seem to be confident about a 1.9td aaz conversion (currently i have a blown 1.6td JX).

at the moment i can only get a replacement 1.6td jx fitted, but was tempted to go for the increased power option.

does anyone recommend a local (south london, london, surrey) that can do it?

thanks,

I got my diesel conversion at Syncro-Nutz, drove it up from Wimbledon, flew back down on a cheap flight,

Left it a few weeks, flew back up, jobs a goodun!

If your JX is running nicely, I'd save yourself the hassle. The AAZ is better, but I'd only bother if your JX is really on the way out.

SyncroSpares and Brickwerks also do the conversion. Baxter even makes his own bits to fit especially for it.

Neither is close to you, though, sorry...

What bits need to be made? I fit these nearly every month or so! :?

well, maybe they're not strictly necessary, but i'm talking about the throttle lever and turbo oil return line...

Recomended garage
