Really pleased to have the svx engine finally mated up to the gearbox and bolted in situ. Lots of cleaning and decluttering of the engine bay, gathering of parts and head scratching is begining to pay off. I am using small car engine mounts (modified to retain original oil cooler and assosiated pipework) and exhaust headers. RJES have supplied bellhousing and clutch components.
Reversed inlet manifold to simplify air intake and relocated alternator. Turbo flywheel and pull clutch should deal with the 230 bhp Very Happy Have the wiring loom to fit, coolant and fuel hoses to connect and a pipe to make up to connect silencer to headers. Richard at www.rjes.com has been very helpfull with this project and would highly reccomend his products. Pictures will follow.

Sort of. My mate jason is doing the same conversion and he bought it. My engine was out of an ebay car. I removed the heads, had them skimmed and replaced all the gaskets and seals with genuine subaru parts. Mine is going in a 1987 syncro 16 panel van and his is going into a 1987 syncro weinsberg camper. He has just collected the new engine from mine and taken it home to jersey to fit, but it will be coming over from time to time. Cant wait to get mine running :)
