Where is the engine number found on T25 1989 2.1 Motor?

Dull question I know, just imported a Westfalia California from Germany and trying to complete the paperwork for Uk registration. However, looking in handbook, engine number does not appear to be where it should. It's a 2.1 petrol engine - any idea where I van find it?

Most likely an MV like mine, easiest way to check is on the German documentation.

Number is just below the black breather tower, partly behind the alternator bracket. It'll start DJ,MV or SS.
