Just put a little post in the camper section but thought id introduce myself here as well.
Just got this a few weeks back and been enjoying camping with an electric heater :D

Dont feel worthy posting this in the syncro section when shes currently two wheel drive and still running modest 14'' roadies.

oh well, keep playing the lottery.

Thought you might like to see the spare wheel holder, not seen one like that before, attaches to back door. soon as i have a spare 500 quid we can replace it with something more purposefull

Thought I might post a wee update as it’s been some time since the first introduction.

Some of you know the van from Germany, others from Vanfest and the like. Its spent most of its life in Scotland and seems to be a rather rare combination of the Devon Space Top with the syncro running gear (only one of its type???). There again all our vans are rare in their own way.

Despite spending (cough) thousand pounds on the upkeep and bits and bobs over the intervening period, the only obvious exterior changes are the Merc ML alloys and BFG 215/70/16 AT.

The other big buy has been a new VC (and I mean new :D ). Luckily it appears to have been fitted with a replacement VW gearbox at some point in its life which means it’s still shifting beautifully.

But most importantly, its done around 10k trouble free miles since purchase, including the 3k mile Euro tramp for Syncro 25, which is essential for me as I couldnt tell you one end of a spanner from another.

And a new westy tow bar for those essential extras...

And some added communication...
