Hi,
Just got my first t25 (an '85 camper) after 20 years of Aircooled buses. Starting a major refit on the van to make it a suitable daily driver for the family and I have a few questions. Any help would be really appreciated, I know from prior experience how easy it is to go wrong.

I have heard there is a soft hose conversion to replace the rigids that run to the radiator at the front. Do you know who supplies them?

I am re-spraying the van and need a full set of window and door seals. Is there a kit? or supplier you could recommend?

I would like to fit a suspension (springs and dampers) kit with a 40mm drop, any recommendations?

As I am going to be busy under the van I thought it might be wise to fit some new bushes and wheel bearings. Anything to look out for?

She needs new discs and drums so I was going to fit new kits front and rear, whos a good supplier of complete kits or would you buy seperates?

Baxter's company Brickwerks comes highly recommended for lowering parts over on the brick-yard. think they might have all the brake stuff you need too. I was gonna use there Avo kit on my caravelle but then i bought a panel with another kit already on it. been thinking of changing it over in the future..
also see if there is a local GSF near you for service parts.
Just Kampers do window rubber bundles and door seals..

Thanks for the info, I am finding it quite different from the Aircooled marketplace. So many more options that are cheaper and more easily accessable.
The first decision I am wanting to take is one I am sure has been debated endlessly here, wheel size, suspension drop and what rubs and fouls the sliding door.
I would like to put a 40mm drop kit on to squat her down a bit. It would also be nice to run some alloys with that, especially as with the scooby engine I would like to have some reasonable rubber on her.
Has anyone done a graph of what works.
I have my eye on some Audi alloys wearing 215/50 on 17inch rims. With the 40mm, I'm thinking this may be too big and cause a rub and maybe foul the slider.
With a 40mm drop what size wheel/tyre is sure not to rub on a camper?

i've been going through all the posts this week as i've been looking at what fits the 60mm drop on my panel. there seems to be lots of people on here and the brickyard running 17's and 18's quite nicely on a 50mm kit. have a search through the tech help and modified sections. there are also lot's of posts stating wheel offset and tyre load rating are things to get right. might be worth looking at the wheel tech section and the bus park section on brick yard as there's loads of helpful info there too.
