hi guys , can anybody tell me if a 2L watercooled t25 gearbox fit my 1980 1600 Aircooled devon bus cheers pete

what gear box do I need? Mine keeps popping gears in 1st mainly, amnd a bit in 3rd?

Well we need a bit more info katykoo.. engine CT, DF, DG,, diesel/petrol, 1.9, 2.1
year etc

Sorry, thought I had typed in details..oops.
Its a 1970cc air cooled 1982 CU engine. Just saw that a wasserboxer gear box could be used, so thought I'd check?

oops, sorry I saw 2 litre and autofilled Aircooled, I missed the watercooled - there's no such thing as a 2 litre, there's 1.9 and 2.1 wbx; and said yes, not strictly so..., linkages are different

Katykoo, your gear linkage may just need readjusting to stop it jumping out of gear. It may not be a gearbox related problem.

I have a 1.6 Aircooled gearbox in my garage if your interested, in perfect working condition and was a recon unit a few years ago .. I am also in Bridgend .. PM me if intersted.
