Kev the Rev its definately a petrol engine, and it is 1888cc i think they made them from 1983/85 its a DH engine code...Ive been to GSF,they havent got a clue..computer says not DH engine code...gave em chassis number as well!...has anyone else sourced an exhaust for this engine??
Thanks... Chris.

took this from Baxters info page Brickyard

DH 1,9l 4-cyl. Flat 4 water-cooled with injection and cat from 84 to 85 61kw / 83bhp.

It's definitely not a 1.8

Treat it as a 1.9 DG for exhausts etc unless it still has the catalyst and lambda probe on it, you can decat these easily, these were usually fuel injected too, not uncommon I have about 4 customers who have them, 2 of them in Westfalia campers.

The 1888cc comes from the different shaped pistons used on this motor

Thanks Steve,
I'll look for an exhaust for DG engine code.
