Can anyone help ?
The distribution pipe on my 1986 T3 has burst and don't seem to be able to find one anywhere.
Have tried the likes of JK, VW Heritage etc...., even GSF, but no joy.
I have also tried one of my local contact's, Lee at Volsmagic but he only has one and it is the type from Oct. 1986 Onwards, and mine is the Pre Oct. 1986, I only know this from looking in my Haynes Manual.
Incase of any confusion, this part bolts to th back of the bulkhead, near the Drivers side rear wheel arch, it is fed from a bottom pipe from the engine and then distributes water to the Thermostate housing, the Radiator and the heater matrix, mine has split down the front and blown the pipe to the heater matrix off.
Mine has the heater matrix pipe above the radiator pipe, where as the later type has the heater matrix pipe alongside the radiator pipe.
Can anyone please help ????????????????

Just spoke to CJ, no joy unfortunatly, he's got the later type but not the one i'm after.
However he did give me info on how I may be able to get around the problem by fitting the later water pump and pipe system, so well worth the call, many thanks.

What a nightmare to take off, wow, horrible.

Part number is as follow's :- 251.121.438.

I also now need the metal return pipe that run's around underneath the lip of the engine bay as the end that goes onto the distribution pipe was badly corroded and fell off when trying to remove the flexi pipe between the two.

Can't work out how to attach photo's on here, otherwise I would put some photo's on of the part and the damage.

Hurrrayyyyyyyy, finally ordered the part, after several e-mails, frusrating time zone's, sorted procedure for purchase, and hopefully the part will be here by Friday, cross fingers.
