serious question
what would you say a van like that was really worth?
im really coming round to the syncro idea, cheaper than running a van and a land rover i think!!

And MUCH better than a Land Rover!
Jake picked his 1.9DG Westfalia Syncro up for about £4k, so that'd seem a fair price (maybe a bit more if it's a 2.1 or has LPG or anything fandango), if you're prepared to look until you find the right one and then nip out and collect it.
It's definitely the answer if you want a good, solid Syncro, provided you don't mind sitting on the wrong side.
Jake was also pleasantly surprised by how is went off road, too, even without working difflocks.

cheers for that
we'd pretty much decided we wanted a westy joker or similar van as my other half prefers that conversion. I really fancied something that can off road too when the mood takes....combining the 2 means no land rover or baja bug so less cars on the drive!!
travelling for one is no probs for me for the right one either
