just a thought i was having, has anyone ever put a partition up between the front seats and the rear?i dont mean totally seperating was thinking more of an arch sort of thing.was thinking of using mdf which would be strong enough to support some shelfs/cupboards and maybe fit in an overhead unit.anyone done or seen anything like it? if so any pics. cheers billy

good idea m8, just think this could look sound, could fit a flip down tv/dvd or whatever into overhead unit, think that would be perfect viewing position

No problem. I already have a hi top. I got it from a lovely lady on here called Blondie. Just trying to help a fellow 80-90er. If you don't get sorted let me know and I'll keep an eye open in York area. If there's one cheap enough it might be worth paying carriage. (Or maybe 80-90 express, but it's a big thing is a roof!).
Good luck anyway.

Just trawled through many postings!!! It WAS Rustyred who said he had a hitop on his garage roof. Hope you get lucky. By the way, be careful what materials you use for fitting out van. Think of the weight!!! I fitted a very nice slate effect work top along entire drivers side of van. It dropped van on that side by nearly 2 inches!!!! It's now in the graveyard (Worktop, not the van!).

(did pm you but don't think it went. Oh, I do love talktalk! )

Sticking a post in the 80-90 wanted section is also worth a try.

Amazing: You ask about a partition and end up with a hitop!!! Isn't 80-90 great eh? Good luck with fitting, post again if you need any advice. I think I can remember the pitfalls etc.
