Hi, just bought a 82 joker, 1600 D, really pleased, no structural or mechanical problems, interior needs some TLC and the appliances need a overhaul. There are a few rust spots under some of the windows, how easy is it to remove these windows to work on the rust and replace the windows with the seals intact, or is it worth me getting new seals, also the cab window seals are shot and these need replacing, can't find anywhere to buy these as yet, would also appreciate advice on these as well.
Is it worh me buying a manual, if so which one do you recommend?

Andrew

Hi mate im in the same boat, my window rubbers are a bit iffy as well, just kampers sell them all, not sure how good they are though, german and swedish might sell them or brickwerks probably seel them, if you dont know these suppliers a quick search on gogle will find them.

As for a manual, i have just got a haynes which is okay but depends what you like.

As for removing windows, i will remove and refit my side windows myself but windscreen and rear windscreen i would get a pro to remove these due to the cost of replacement if you do break them.

hope some of this helps a bit. Steve

Don't use JK rubbers. Go for NER. I just blew a big hole in mine with a power washer. As for removing and replacing WIKI

Thanks for the advice, my side windows and rear window are plastic, like the ones that I see on caravans does this pose a different problem in thier removal?
