Heater Blower

Driving home tonight and turned the blower up to 3 (11 would have been good) got a funny noise and it packed up 30 seconds later . Obvious/obscure, easy/difficult, cheap/expensive, or all of the above.
Pointers appreciated.

has it been noisey if so its the bearing in the blower seized
cure is dash out split heater box lube bearing takes about 21/2 hours allin all\ pm your tell no will talk you throu if u want

Mine did the same in December. I'm going to fit a known-good used heater assembly, as I don't want to have to strip the dash out again when the existing bearing seizes up the next time...
