Does anyone know if VW dealers sell these as I'm fed up having a KMPH clock in my diesel westy and want to change it. Seen 'em pop up on ebay for silly money

but if possible would sooner buy a new one. Thanks

Im not sure if vw still sell them, but i have a late MPH speedo head '805' the clip on speedo cable type, if its any good to you £15inc P&P, might be worth mentioning it's the sort without the trip counter.

Another option would be aquire a working/broken speedo off any T3 and just swap the faces (asuming they both have/don't have trip). That way you'd still have your original odo/trip readings (in km, just like maps) but with the duel scale round the outside, favoring miles. The gearing changes depending on model but they all have the same speeds in the same place on the clock face (apart from really early stuff that has 90mph speedos?).

Hi Syncro G,
I like that idea but just to clarify my 1990 diesel bus KPH speedo has a trip so are you saying if I can find the MPH speedo face of any late T25 (diesel or petrol) that has a trip and fit it in place of my KPH one the MPH speed will show correctly?
If so and anyone out there has the required face to sell please let me know.
Cheers,
Dave

likewise i had a check on this as well last night looked at a couple of KPH speedos and a MPH speedo i have, and they seem to be calibrated differently, ie as lloyd says 80kph is in a different position on the face.
