Fuel consumption

I'm thinking of getting a crewy for a daily runner (92 Mile round trip) my question is whats the diesel engine like on fuel consumption?

1.6 TD on my camper is pretty good...can't give figures ...too anoracky!
but have found it pays to have a good clearout and not transport too many surplus bits...Why a crewcab...all that extra metal? :shock:

I've got a 1.7 na diesel and I can manage 348 miles from a full tank. I refilled it when it got to the white line just before the red.

well on my way home thought i'd do some totting to fund the commute , got my bell and a dirty jumper... Just fancy summat different summat to pop the contraband in the back too :wink: :lol:

Well i'll tell ya what, when i get one i'll bring it over, you can don your billy 'n' johnies (bib and brace) and orange vests and we can drive round town pretending we're real workmen, we can even woof whistle the the town hotties (just for the whole workman experience of course)

hi Folks

newbie poster looking at buying a van soon

Does anyone know what the MPG is likely to be on a diesel?

A friend has quoted around 25mpg on a petrol 1.9

ive got a creiw as a daily driver. fitted an LPG tank in the locker. getting just over 45mpg (driving like a saint) .
My AAZ did 40mpg driven carefully. JX did early 30s.
