Can someone tell me is the heater and the heater blower separate?

My heater has started smoking and its driving me mad, still cant work it out. Going to re-check the ducting pipes and fixings, in case its sucking in some exhaust fumes.

What heater?...diesel engine or petrol


the normal heater? or an added one, like a propex , or an ebber?

the "matrix" or heat exchanger is an integral part of the "blower".

hot water is pumped around the" little radiator" or matrix and then blown into the cabin

Air cooled owners don't have this phenomenon!
