Can you get spare keys from VW if i show them my V5 /chassis number etc? My vans a 1988. I have done it before with my volvo when i lost keys for that, I assume the vans locks are origional.

*yes I would just phone VW but I have no signal here in the middle of nowhere today. Ill detour past VW if its a goer!

just buy a blank like this..http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0217513102...and get one cut using the key you have now....

ah.. theres the problem .. i dont have one now!
