Tin-top T25 owner, needs advice on electrics and fridge

Hi everyone....

am brand new to the world of campervans and this website........ have just got my first T25 (G-reg 1.9l petrol tin top) and loving it.

Van is in great condition but the conversion seems a bit of a DIY job. I am having problems with the fridge and at present there is no leisure battery.

I live in South East London, SE27. Could anyone recommend a garage/workshop/mechanic/enthusiast/electrician etc who could take a look at it for me to advise on fridge and possible leisure battery/relay/zig unit installation?

Many thanks

If you don't get any answers to your quest for a garage/workshop/mechanic/enthusiast/electrician etc

then I'd start reading the 80-90 wiki... it's all there

battery instalation and fridges (wiring and plumbing)

What type of fridge? Has it worked at all?
Check WIKI above..... then post some more info if needed
Most likely you will improve things just by tidying up someone elses wiring mess?!

John,
I am no expert but have just put a new fridge in my wagon.
I know a little about a few things on T 25's so if you want a drive down Sevenoaks/Tonbridge way sometime we might be able to find some answers.

It's an Electrolux 3-way. I got the gas lit and it smoked like crazy for a while... which then cleared.... but still after a good 4 hours it wouldn't get cold... It works off the mains.

Thanks guys, I'll get stuck into Wiki
