What Oil Filter?

Just noticed oil gushing out and it appears my oil filter (canister) has a hole. Can I just whip to halfords for one (in my other car) and which one do I need? Need to get it sorted before work in the morning and my Halfords is open til 8.

If halfords have one then thats what you will have to use..
Personaly I only use Gen VW or Mann (OE supplier) filters...
If you mean what part number then you will have to look in the halfords book to see if its listed... would be handy to know what engine you have though!!!!

None of those are any good when you need one tonight, and it's 6pm. Got one from Halfords. Hope it's the right one.

The oil is not coming out of the oil COOLER that is fitted just above the filter is it?

Don't think so. There is a very obvious, large hole in the bottom of the filter canister.
