jetta engine and gearbox?

hi,
i have recently destroyed a caddy engine in my t25 along with my gearbox but have got hold of a jetta engine and gearbox.
Question is will they both fit in my t25??Anyone know????

Gearbox is backwards in T25 so unless you mounf it upside down the gearbox isn't going to work. If you find out what model engine it is you might get it to fit see the wiki.

Qoute: The engine will mate to a diesel T3 gearbox only (petrols can be adapted with diesel parts). Rear engined gearboxes are completely different to front engined ones in about every way imagineable so send the jetta gearbox to the scrappy with the other needless bits of jetta - helps keep the weight up for the weighbridge.
