Urgent advice re window fitting

Have got the windows out and the seals round the windows ready to go in but can't get the cord into the other groove to start the process as described in the wiki, appears much too tight, any ideas please or we are in deep poop for vanfest. If you work for autoglass and in the warrington area I need you now!!!!

it should be hard u need the right tool 2 put the litte bit back in,i done my own with out the tool, but it did take some time working me way run it all, if u cant do it ring autoglass they come and do it but it mite cost u £50 2 do

i just finished one , DODDLE ,

,using the tool ( from JK , about 8 squid , worth it ) and some silicon -rubber lube spray ( halfords ) down the groove -- def easier than getting the rubber on the metalwork surround .
I found it best to lead ,down the groove, with the tool first , with the insert threaded thru a bit like a needle , then flatten the insert in as you go along .
