I'm hoping someone can help me out with my Van.
Last week i had to be towed home as the Van cut out and wouldn't restart.
RAC came out and said it was a prob with the Dizzy.
The next day i started looking at it and the Rota arm looked burnt out so i replaced it. Then pulled the HT lead off and checked that i had a spark, which it did, but still not starting. It turns over fine but i dont know what else to check on it.

Can anyone help????

This might sound daft/obvious but have you checked that there is petrol getting to carb?

Well, kind of.
In trying to start it and pumping the pedal, it smell of petrol.

take the pipe off the fuel pump and turn the engine over briefly

it should squirt out

then check the fuel filter ...is it full of crap
