Wnating to get involved...need some advice

Hello. I am going to purchase a T25 camper this weekend for a trip to the Belgium GP next week. I hope to get a smart and reliable one for about 4-5k. Is this realistic? I have some viewings lined up in the South wales/Bristol area, but I could do with a few pointers as to what to look for to avoid dropping a clanger. I think I will go for a 1.6TD version as I have heard these are tidy and cheap to run. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you in advance. Ben

Price wise you should be ok as long as you're realistic & not wanting a show-winner!

I've just got a 1.6TD & seems to do very well on fuel economy but you are up & down the gears quite abit. I've also got a 2.1 petrol & is alot more refined, relaxing drive. But horses for courses.

Good luck & join the RAC.

Yep buy for the long haul same as with houses, kids , pets, nd the more attached you get the happier you will be to spend, because as sure as night turns to day you will be spending, and now go wash your mouth out, economy and our vans dont go hand in hand.
