Hi everyone

I have just got myself an 89 1.9 dg wbx caravelle and was looking at putting a Pertronix Flamethrower coil and leads in ??????.

Does anyone know of a problem with this or any reason why I shouldnt do it ?

Just looking at ways of getting a bit more power and mpg so any advice would be appreciated .

But doesn't it already have electronic ignition fitted?
I would not think these replacements would be any better...
Maybe others will have their own opinions...

more power would come from a 2.1ptrl or a 1.9 Diesel

better mpg would be a lighter foot
