bonjour, just had our 1.9 petrol df converted to lpg, and have a minor query ,what colour should the spark plugs be when running nicely,if it were on petrol and they were the colour they are now,a more of a white than a sandy colour i would be thinking it is running weak, but is that colour normal on gas??we are currently in brittany so i cant take it in to the guy that fitted it to check emissions , it has returned 22 mpg on both fill ups so far,at speeds of 80 to 90 kms...5 up(3 kids) and a boot full of kit

The plugs will be a lot pailer than you are used to as there are no contaminates in the gas, there should be no issues and it sounds as though it is setup perfectly returning that sort of MPG

many thanks mate, 1 issue today is a good pop every now and again on the overrun whilst letting it go down a hill

Did you try the same hill on petrol? could be a manifold leak, overgapped spark plugs, slightly lean mixture, slightly rich mixture should I go on, just enjoy your holiday and stop worrying about little things.
