Superb pictures, I love Scotland, no where in the rest of southern europe feels so wild.

Did you go over the wire bridge on your Glen Nevis walk, thats a lovely valley. We had a billion midges attack us when we were there in August 2005. My two boys spent a good hour climbing and swinging on it though, with midge hats firmly in place.

Simon.

Hi Tezza and whole world

Thanks for comments. Ferry price was 202 for van and 2 adults. That was for 3 ferries oban-barra, barra-eriskay, and uist-skye. However prices are due to come down dramatically in October as part of some govt. regulations.

Excellent pics JPEE - it takes me back to May - and looks like you had similar excellent weather.

Just when you think they are quite a short distance South to north - you realise the Islands are very different and many areas deserve a more detailed explore. Ideal for the camper as you don't have to do many miles between overnights (great for the fuel cost) and can be somewhere completely different the following night.

Tis great going somewhere where wild camping isn't just accepted - it is expected :D An the views you can have from your pitch door........wow.

I love them islands and were prob off back every year.
