Hi I hope someone can help my Van has a sink/cooker/fridge combo, but comes with an "unusual" (So the man at the local camping place told me)
regulator and bottle fitment.

Hope this gives a clue

It also has a knob for a heater but I can find no evidence of one

Basically I wondered whether just replacing the regulator and pipe with a Uk regulator is A) Safe. and B) will work.

Finally the idea of a gas fridge really worries me, it has piezo electric start but if you are using gas to keep it cool how do you know it's alight and how does actually cool anything, will it get through gas really quickly?

Sorry if this has been answered before, if someone can point me in the right thread if i've missed it please do, if no thanks for your help in advance! :D

Thanks

Matt

I have a 'german' gas thing going on, and you can use all that 'stuff' if you find someone to fill ya bottles... if not there is a simple solution, change the connector and buy an english bottle. (looks a lot like the stuff in my karmann)

You will need to source a 50mbar regulator for whatever bottle you use.UK standard is 28mbar and Europe are 50mbar.

Cheaper to buy an adapter from Gaslow that goes between your German regulator and a UK Propane bottle
Part number 01-1674G also get the washer Gaslow part 01-8030

make sure you change the flexi pipe as it will probably be the original, date is on it
