Plug in bellhousing viewing hole

I am trying to set the timing , does the plug come out easy as all i can see through is the small flip out cap in the centre of it and all I can see is the pressure plate for the clutch , there is a large hex in the middle and I don't have a allen key big enough is there a special tool for the job ?

I don't have a plug in mine, never had.
Back to your problem, if you have no hex key try using a bolt head.
If you find a bolt head to fit you can fit two nuts on the bolt and tighten them together.
The stick the nuts in to a socket and you should have a usable tool.

Sorry its a 1.6 turbo and I have now used the nut method as I don't have a 27 mm a/f allen key thank you for suggesting it.
