Help with shonky panel fit....

Bought a L/h Rear wheel arch from GSF,,,, it was cheap an can see why to be honest!
It doesnt have the lip all the way round the top as I thought it would only on the rear edge, Its oversized so is it worth pissing about and outting a 90 degreee lip on around the wheel arch edge?
OR bin it of an buy a hadrians panel? are these easier to fit?
