Got some 80mm springs for the front of my bus, I have been made aware that I will need to run shortened shocks to avoid bottoming out.
Any one running there bus that low?
What shocks are you using?
Any info help appriechiated,
I know jokerdub does some adjustables but can't spend that much!
and I know the JK one are not short enough!
Cheers

mines 70mm fully adjustable AVO , and on the verry limit of camber adjustment so expect to scrub off the inside sholder of the fronts quicker than normal , save up some ££ and talk to dave (jokerdub ) he can most likely get you the shocks you need to be safe !! and suprise you with the reasonable price ! Its not advisable to go lower than 70mm and thats pushin it . you will prolly void any insureance claim in an accident if they find out !!
where /what how did you get the 80mm springs ???

Scoobybus, have you put shocks and springs in from t3d?
Now got the springs in, not bottoming out on standard shocks but its a very bumpy ride. so looking to put the shocks in too?
Jokerdub, did you find out if the g-max are any good for a 80mm drop? as I though they were 50mm shortened.
Anyone know why if standard shocks don't bottom out why the 60mm shorter JK ones would (according to them!).
Cheers all for help and advice.

Hiya. I would say looking at the shocks T3D use they are Gmax!
They look exactly the same as the ones Ive bought and supplied in the past.
JK have no idea when it comes to lowering more than 45mm. The shocks they supplied me when I first started out lowering T3`s where standard piston heavy duty items, that would suit a 45 drop no probs but on 60mm leave a lot to desired.
