Hi ,
i have been offered a free gearbox from a 87' porsche 911 3.2 and would like to know if this is suitable to go in my van ?
Any mods needed to fit ?

I still have no engine but am looking at running a high powered lump to cope with all the extra weight of the sound system.

No it wont, not without a hekk of a lot of work.. (only worth it if fitting a BIG engine) get it anyway and flog on, then buy a rebuilt box from Aidan..

and put it on ebay should make £700-1000 which will buy a dingdang rebuilt T25 box !
Seriously I'd decide on a fuel then an engine then tyres then box, rather than the other way around

Agree with Aidan, cus you can get the gearbox geared with engine at optimum rpm when cruising.
