Hiya, I don't want to cut a hole in the side of my van so I was wondering if someone could show me a picture of how they've mounted the hookup point onto the number plate flap.
I think i've worked it out - but just want to confirm before I start drilling holes!
cheers,
Rich

You rotters! Why didn't I think of putting it there? I felt inadequate (just for a few seconds) when I saw that.

Great place to put it! When you plug the hook up in what happens though? Does the flap stay open or do you manage to get it shut again?

the flap stays open, and your number plate is hidden....... which wound a few campsite commandants up when looking for reg numbers every now and again....... the main advantage is its nice and warm in there, so no damp in the socket, unlike the silly ones in the side which get very damp in the wet season, which is when most hookuping goes on........

Humour me, for i have not used a mains hook up previously. Obvioulsy another cable runs from that plug to the mains plug on the campsite - do we need to carry that or do the campsites generally provide them?
Sorry if it's a dull question, but it is Sunday evening, i am sober even though i saw the Blues make a meal of beating Munster earlier, *AND* i was a good boy and went to the gym this morning.
None of this, however, makes up for the dullness of my question. I am wittering and i apologise.
