Really desperate!! Help with interior lighting in Caravelle

Hi all,

Ive had my Caravelle for about a year now - bought it from the infamous "Cherry Picker" aka Tom Hurley...well, when I went to collect, none of the interior lighting worked.
Im in the process of converting it to a camper.
Ive had loads of camping trips already, but had to use candles or lanterns, which Im getting really fed up with!!

Really, really need some lights to work now - so I wondered if anyone could guide me through what i need to do/check in order to get some idea as to whether im wired up even?
The two side lights in the rear had been whipped away, with just wires left sticking out. The very rear light and middle ceiling light remain and have bulbs in, but dont work...

Whats my first port of call, in trying to discover if they are wire up?

Thanks everyone, im a real novice when it comes to electrics!

Just thought.....there is no leisure battery...would I need one to run the lights from?

In my last van (1980 high top) i was lucky enough to have leisure battery and zig unit, so it was a piece of cake for me.

start at the beginning........

the interior light above the drivers door...... bulb ok?

fuse 3 ok?

you need a bulb and a peice of wire to test the wiring, after you have made sure the fuse in no3 position is good.

Sorry im jumbling my words!

Ok, the cab lights have always worked (the ones above the doors).
Im not sure about fuse 3? Im at work at the moment but will have a tinker tomorrow.
When i find fuse 3 (which is about all i can do!)..what happens next?
I have a bulb and a piece of wire - what do i do with it?
Sorry to sound so pathetic!
