1.6/ 1.9 upgrde oil leak

just bought a t25with a 1.6 diesel, upgraded 1,9 cylinder head added (1y),
on drive back from newquay to manchester oil all over rengine bay, found grommet to seal dipstick been replaced by gasket seal & leaking. resaeled until i can get new grommet but still seems to be oil appearing, maybe even from end of dipstick, is this possible & what can cause it
any sugestions gratefully received, also any recomendations for mechanics in south manchester
