Looks good.
My concern is the reduction in light and direct air flow (mainly a problem in summer so it is not a major concern).

They are a bit pricy though.

Has anyone seen the ones that go on TOP of the car? I saw one at a show and they are well cool!

I've seen a couple of people with these rear ones and they seem to work quite well.

A rear awning would be rather handy if you've got one of these:

I had a Caranex for my Discovery.
Very well made (aimed and landrover expeditioning types), but based on an old fashion frame tent idea, so awkward to put up. They are big enough to get a camp bed in either way, or table and 2 chairs, so not very big compared to modern awnings.
They are also very generic, so versatile in terms of how, where and what they will fit, but therefore require lots of playing and experimenting with the various cords, elastics and poles to get the fit you need.

With hindsight, a modern freestanding awning would be better (larger and easier), somehow worked around (or over?) the raised tailgate.
On the Disco, you had to accommodate the spare wheel on the rear door, and I had a roof tent to contend with as well, so a tailgate should be such a challenge.

That looks like a large toilet tent in my opinion.
I like the cheap ones that Aldi are doing but they have meshed sides so offer no privacy.
