Mixed warnings

I wish, just once, I could get in my van, drive it somewhere and come back again, without having a problem...

I had an alarm and mobiliser fitted today. All fine, then I went out tonight and noticed the fuel gauge wasn't working. On the way home when I put the headlights on the temp guage light came on constantly, if I furned full beam on it went off after flashing a bit, same also if I turned the lights off, the main beam on light was slightly on too. I had had a problem with the water warning light coming on, even though there seemed to be enough water in both tanks but I thought this had sorted itself out - not sure if that's related.

Any idea what's going on here, I presume it's got something to do with the alarm fitting, but it'd be good to have some idea of what the problem is before I go back to the alarm fitters.

I think im right in saying all the lights you've mentioned are all on the same PCB which is connected via a connector behind the clock or rev counter, sounds as if on fitting the alarm they have may shorted out something on the PCB or connector so switches are switching on things they shouldn't be.
