Replacement gear-stick assembly etc., etc.

Just returned from 2 weeks in Scotland where the gear stick in my diesel T25 (1984) broke off....and it's only 24 years old.....I've looked at the FAQs but am not too sure what to order. The pivot ball joint is also worn and there is a spring loaded plunger on the bottom end of the stick underneath the floor which has come off somewhere along the way so I don't have any resistance at the stick when selecting first or reverse. So, I need the whole gearstick assembly, (except for the knob!) What do I order and from whom? I don't want to go to Motorworld and get the wrong bits as they are always so unhelpful and wouldn't be too happy to re-order.
Many thanks for the invaluable help given by you all in the past.
Best wishes, Richard.
