Westfalia roof fit?

Is it possible to fit a Westfalia rear hinged roof to a T25 that was originally a panel van?

I realise that the Westies had a completely different roof structure with recesses for the bed boards and to accept the hinge brackets but wonder if anyone has experience of modifying a standard roof to accept a Westie roof.

Has anyone done it or can anyone recommend a bodyshop capable of a good job?

Ta!

I've just fitted one to mine - the tricky bit is getting the bolts through the back of the roof and hinges to sit correctly. I had a plate manufactured with the nuts welded to it for each side so in effect the plate creates a sandwichbetween the roof and the hinges.

Do you have any photos or sketches of the plates CB?

I'm just about to fit my Westy pop and it would be very helpful 8)
