Wheels, not alloys

Hi all

I am in the process of giving the Chuckle Bus a new look and the missus and I have decided we want to keep the original wheel with dome caps look. However, I am going to do a 45mm lower and would like some wider wheels than the standard in order to give the added handling of alloys, but that will take the domes.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what wheels to get?

Wide 14" syncro wheels, normally take 205 14`s. Think there 6J

I have a set of 4 if required, be looking for about £60 for the four.

how spooky is that, same thought had crossed my mind, wide steels and the dub caps, sounds good to me :D

got syncro 14 wheels on my van now, the spare came with a 205 and it looks huge. i have measured it and the diameter is roughly an inch larger. whats that going to do to the gearing? the upside is lower revs when cruising better mpg? (i dunno) or needing to contantly change to 3rd at the smallest incline. i am guessing that it should all be good as syncros had the same engines, but did they have different gear ratios?

Yep, i reckon its a good look. Lowered with the domes - and nice phat wheels....

Personally i also like the weelers (sp)...
