Hi all
I need to replace the rear wheel bearings and brake shoes on the van.
have heard different things regarding which brand for the bearings.
just want to hear what people recommend regarding brands and suppliers.
I have just moved up north, about 8 miles from john'o groats so they will be mail ordered.
have had varied service over time so shopping around this time.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I think Simon at brickyard has decent bearings in stock.

I supply both parts to the trade and at the end of the day you get what you pay for.

Bearing wise, the best is probably SKF, but they are expensive.


Personally I go for the mid priced stuff, that way you get a decent quality without paying a fortune - value for money.

With a lot of the braking parts, discs, pads and shoes etc, most of the 'brands' use the same factories and put them in their own boxes.
