Hi
I have an Electrolux RM2200 3 way fridge in my van.
The gas electric igniter switch has been playing up, so Ive removed it and found its basically knackered! :-

Does anyone know if and where I could get a replacement switch?
I have connected two of the spade connector wires and got a good 'ticking' and a bright spark visible through the little window at the bottom rear of fridge, so the problem would appear to be only the switch....
Any ideas folks? Thanking you in advance.... FW

Best chance is to take it with you to match it up and try here or a similar outlet......

If you dont get any joy at maplin. Take a photo of the other side of the switch and I will order you one. If you get the Dimensions and the rating I will add one to my next Arcolectric order.

Got the Halfrauds one, but I cant get it to illuminate when switch on, although it 'ticks' really well!
Also, its about a mm too fat to push back into the hole, so I will have to find another soon.
When I put a elec tester on the wires, looking from left to right I got:
12v / nil (earth I presume!) / a few volts! <--- weird I thought?
At least fridge works on gas now tho!
Cheers

The correct illuminated igniter switch is available from any caravan dealer who offer service for their customers. My local caravan dealer has all spares for Dometic fridges and the switch is priced at around a hefty nine pounds (bit steep for a rocker switch!).

The correct switch is marked "110 v" , a 12 volt one will not flash.
