Anybody know what the relationship is between the speedo W value and the gearbox ratios/ wheel size to get the correct speed reading? Is there a formula?
I have another little "project" on the go and need to source a speedo to match my running gear which will give a true speed reading.
Thanks.

Cheers Fritz I found this.

"The number printed on the speedometer face plate below the word MPH shows the number of revolutions required by the speedo cable multiplied by 100 to travel a distance of 1/100th of a mile (52 feet, 9 inch)"

I'm fubbed if I know how its going to help me but I guess its what I asked for. :?

Cheers.
