Just wondered if anyone has used anyone listed with Autogas for their LPG conversion?
Ive emailed one in Ringmer, Lewes and another in Kent - but no reply yet.
Any recommendations would be gratefully received!!

Hi
Autogas is just another name for name for L.P.G (liquified petroleum gas).
What Autogas company did you do the search with?
Check out
www.gasure.co.uk

If you're meaning this website:
http://www.go-autogas.com/
and the fuel prices info on there is anything to go by, it's so out-of-date that the installers that you've been trying to contact have probably retired or moved to a different address by now!
I tried checking local gas prices on there recently and the info I was getting was from April. I've emailed them twice in the past and asked why they're so slow to update but got no reply . . . actually they're probably still typing the reply because it was only about 6 months ago when I mailed them! I really don't see the point of a site like that if they can't keep it a bit more current!

The map I bought 3 years ago was 3 years out of date even then.

Oh, that explains it then.
Ive been using
www.autogas.ltd.uk ...it directs you to your local LPG installer.
Is this connected with the autogas.com website?
Ive emailed the guy at Ringmer in Lewes twice..and run an online quote thingy with another in Kent, but no replies..
I guess i should phone!! oops forgot that they exist!
Ive had contact with Steve at Gasure and he is fully booked until October..
Im going away for for a few weeks and will probably cover around 800 miles and really wanted to get it converted before then..trouble is Im going away in 3 weeks time!

IF you are really desperate, you could try Medway Dual fuel - if you google it or yell.co.uk it you will get an 01634 number. Helpful chaps - may be able to help

no - not at all! Well, not that I know of, anyway!!
I meant desperate in wanting it done and not waiting for Steve!
They have always been very attentive to me, they have a small unit but every time i have visited have had some very expensive looking motors in there. They haven't actually done anything for me other than check and correctly diagnose a fault on my old Aircooled set up!
