wouldn't tint myself, to do it legally to have to leave the front windows clear it then looks odd IMO.

Just had mine done in Limo black, with the driver and passenger side in a 30% tint.
This way, it looks right as you look down the van, and as the rear windows are so dark, the driver/passenger windows look lighter than a 30% tint.
I know it's still not legal to have anything on the front, but IMO the visibilty with a 30% tint is very good, day or night. I guess PC Plod won't look at it quite the same way though, and I'm quite aware that I may have to end up peeling it off at the roadside

If you are going to get it done, get it done professionally.
The PO did mine, without taking the windows out and without cleaning the windows properly.
It was fecking naff with creasing in the corners, gaps, bubble.
It took two days and one litre of acetone to get the "pooh" off.

I did mine myself on saturday. got it wrong a couple of times to begin with but got there in the end. They are not wrong when they say how hard it is but if you are patient its possible. cos i made two mistakes i ran out of tint for the rear window but its not that dear so i have ordered some more and will post pics when I have finished. on ebay i bought 6 metres for £22 so even if it goes wrong it doesnt break the bank. I advise trying it I am over the moon with mine. Also if it goes wrong its so easy to remove cos its covered in water when applying so its not sticky until it dries.

i had mine done by a professional.£250.i believe the best way to do them yourself is to remove all the glass.tbh i thought paying the £250 the better option.and there isn't one single bubble in mine.and the guy.gives a lifetime guarantee...
