Clamping fuel line.

For when changing the fuel filter Haynes manual says clamp fuel line either side. Will mole (sp?) grips be okay for this or to rough?

When clamping fuel lines brake hoses etc, i usually use a small stanley woodworking 'G Clamp'

I tend to use 2 old bits of pencil .... you know the ones the kids have had and broken all the lead :evil:

Get yourself one of these. Won't damage your fuel/brake hoses and they work really well :wink:

Thanks for the reponses. Will se what I can get.

Think I'll leave the pencil trick for an emergency! Our little ones'll probably have no lead in them!
