Has anybody put a set of freeflow airfilters on their gas conversion? Mines a 2ltr CU. Just wondering if it may free up a little extra power as the gas things on top of the carbs look a restrictive to airflow. Or are they like that on purpose to create a bit of a vacuum to aid the gas flow?

The venturii are prob bigger than the chokes on the carbs in anycase..

changing anything from the current setup will require the gas to be adjusted to suit.. filters prob wont give you any more performance, but will give more noise...
