Just back from Stornoway on the Western Isles - the only place on the Outer Hebrides (as they used to be called) to fill up with LPG is in Stornoway - so expected to be fleeced at least just a little....... :(

but -

Petrol 123p per litre
diesel 138p per litre
LPG 50p per litre !!!! :D :D

Thats 15% cheaper than in Inverness!

Can anyone beat LPG at 41% of petrol cost or 36% of diesel cost?

Oh and all cooking (full meals on twin hob - toast
and tea regularly) and fridge (whenever stopped and level) for 9 days whilst away wild camping used approx 6 kg of our 10KG leisure tank - cost £3.50 :D

Gas fridges like a level van... otherwise the flame misses the flue and doesn't heat up the Ammonia enough to work efficiently enough for absorption.

simply put.... on gas, they get colder level.
